An explosion at Nanming Chemical Company Ltd on September 7 was the fourth chemical explosion in the country in less than a month.
Monday’s blast occurred in Lishui, a city in the Zhejiang province of eastern China. No injuries or casualties were reported and the fire was under control.
Reports indicated that the fire was started when an electric welder was apparently misused on the first floor of the three-story building.
The fire was extinguished in about three hours
Nanming Chemical Company Ltd specializes in development and production of high-tech fine chemical products.
There have been at least 175 deaths in the four explosions that have occurred in China in the last month.
