BFM fittings are now available with a pressure-resistant flexible sleeve that enables facilities to operate continuously at 18-psig pressure.

The Seeflex 060ES flexible sleeve helps prevent blowouts and leakage caused by overpressure and explosions, providing added security for companies processing food, dairy, and nutritional powders in high-pressure processes.

Typical installations are between hoppers and rotary valves. The ether-based thermoplastic polyurethane sleeve houses an internal polyester scrim. The combined materials virtually eliminate stretching and provide high durability. Maximum operating temperature is 248˚F.
