The Association of American Railroads (AAR) will host a teleconference to discuss the freight rail industry’s economic impact and policy outlook on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The teleconference coincides with the annual release of the association’s outlook report, which will discuss the industry’s ability to create jobs, invest in infrastructure, and increase exports. In addition, the report examines the Washington policy and regulatory environment and its role in ensuring freight rail can continue to be one of the nation’s greatest success stories.
