MG America, the US subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, Italy, and a leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment, has hired longtime manufacturing machinery professional Jim McKee as sales manager for its Processing Division.

McKee will spearhead North American sales efforts for the company’s portfolio of capsule filling, material handling and checkweighing equipment.

He brings more than two decades of equipment sales expertise to MG America, including nine years with the company earlier in his career. Most recently, he was a regional sales manager for Glatt Group, an integrated process solutions provider. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a sales manager with IMA North America.

“Having enjoyed significant success with us earlier in his career, Jim brings a deep familiarity with MG America’s equipment offerings, key differentiators and customer base,” said Claudio Radossi, president of MG America. “He’s returning to us with an even more impressive track record of sales growth and customer relationship building, plus extensive knowledge of the industry’s evolving needs, standards and technologies.”

McKee earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He resides in Flemington, NJ.

MG America's Packaging Division designs and supplies primary packaging equipment such as thermoformers, stick pack and sachet machines, as well as secondary packaging modules including cartoners, case packers, and tray formers.
