Stedman Expands Testing and Toll Processing Facility
Stedman Machine Co. has expanded its testing and toll processing facility.

The Stedman Machine Co. expanded its testing and toll processing facility with two horizontal-shaft impactors and a vertical roller mill fine grinding system. Other full-size equipment includes cage mills, vertical shaft impactors, hammer mills, vertical roller mills, and lump breakers. Open, closed circuit, and air-swept systems can be used for pre-purchase testing, process development, and toll processing.

Customers can save time and money by having Stedman process material that otherwise may require significant plant reconfigurations, capital investment, or substantial downtime. They can keep processing during planned maintenance or while waiting for new equipment installation. The toll processing facility is an environment for process development to meet specifications not yet capable in existing facilities.

The facility is staffed with technicians who guide the material testing processes and help determine the best processing equipment. Analysis capabilities include moisture, particle size gradation, bulk density, abrasion, estimated metal replacement costs, and power requirements for startup and full load.
