Tyson Foods Chief Marketing Officer Noelle O’Mara was recently selected to lead the firm’s $9 billion prepared food business, which includes the brands Hillshire Farm, Tyson, and Jimmy Dean, the firm announced in a release Monday. In her new post, O’Mara will also manage one-third of Tyson’s manufacturing plants and over 25,000 workers.

“Noelle is the right choice to lead the continued growth of our prepared foods business,” Noel White, president and chief executive officer of Tyson Foods, said in a statement. “She has the leadership, knowledge, and experience we need to help us deliver the next generation of innovation and service to our customers and consumers.”

The newly-appointed executive will replace Sally Grimes, who previously announced plans to leave the company, immediately. O’Mara will report to White and remain a member of the enterprise leadership team.

O’Mara joined Tyson Foods in 2016 of vice president, new business models and has served as general manager and senior vice president of the Tyson and Jimmy Dean business units prior to her appointment as chief marketing officer.

Prior to her tenure with Tyson Foods, O’Mara occupied a number of senior-level general manager positions at Kraft Heinz.
