1 Dead, 6 Injured in Chemical Factory Explosion

Explosion caused a massive fire

One worker was killed and six other workers were seriously injured after an explosion at a chemical factory in Nalgonda, a city and municipality in the Indian state of Telangana.

Atul Garg, the director of Delhi Fire Service, said one person was pronounced dead when he arrived at the hospital. 

A massive fire resulted from the explosion at the Hindis lab. Nine fire tenders were able to get the fire under control. An investigation as to the cause of the explosion was underway.
