PEMA Names Robert Bunting Interim Treasurer

Bunting has been nominated for the position of vice president.

The Process Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (PEMA) Nominating Committee selected Robert Bunting to serve as interim treasurer until March 1, 2024.

The board of directors approved the nomination unanimously, and Bunting will fulfill the treasurer role, along with continued fiduciary duties as a member of the board. He has been nominated for the position of vice president to be voted upon by all PEMA members on March 1, 2024.

Bunting strives to be actively involved in industry associations having served in multiple positions in PEMA. He is the president and CEO of Bunting, a company that bears his family’s name, founded in 1959 by Walter Bunting in Chicago. The company is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnetic separators, metal detectors, materials handling, magnetic printing cylinders, magnets, magnet assemblies, and magnetizing equipment. Headquartered in Newton, KS, it has multiple locations including Bunting-Elk Grove Village, Bunting-DuBois, Bunting-Berkhamsted, and Bunting-Redditch in the UK, and Ningbo, China.
