Electric Control-Valve Actuators
Electric, nonintrusive CVA control-valve actuators provide a technological advance in precise operation, HMI capabilities, and fail-to-position protection, as well as energy savings. They are available in linear and quarter-turn actions and are suitable for a wide range of control-valve applications, including those in challenging working environments. The new actuators eliminate the need for costly air supplies and are easily integrated into most process control environments, including those that use Hart and Foundation Fieldbus protocols.

Quick-Clean Rotary Valve
The QC Aerolock rotary valve is designed for contamination-sensitive applications where frequent disassembly and cleaning is required. It is also excellent for use with abrasive materials. Without disengaging the airlock from the system, it can be easily disassembled and cleaned by one person using a hand-held wrench. This exposes the rotor, end plates, and housing chamber for easy cleaning without disturbing the seals or bearings. Upon reassembly, the original clearances are maintained without adjustment. Available in five sizes from 6 to 14 in. and designed to handle pressure differentials to 12 psi, the valve comes standard with a 10-blade stainless-steel rotor for maximum labyrinth seal and wear life.

Rotary Airlock Valves
Drop Thru, Blow Thru, and Side Entry heavy-duty rotary airlocks come standard with regreasable bearings, helical gearboxes, predrilled body vents, and predrilled air-purge connections. These valves are rated at up to 20-psi pressure differentials and are available for temperatures in excess of 1000°F. All units feature large rotor shafts with thick beveled blades as standard. Numerous options are available to meet all application requirements.

Diverters
Maintenance-friendly Straight Line Aggregate diverters handle sand, gravel, whole grains, coal, and other difficult-to-convey materials efficiently and economically. Built with abrasion-resistant wear liners and a removable access door to allow for easier inspection and maintenance, the durable units are built to avoid excessive wear typically associated with traditional “bucket” diverters. Also called K-style diverters, they handle heavy-duty, abrasive materials efficiently and utilize highly durable rubber bucket seals to provide a positive material shutoff at the leading edge of the bucket. These rubber seals avoid abrasion, as the diverter’s inlet is designed to divert flow away from the seals. At the same time, the diverter’s internal mechanisms are spared abrasion. The diverter’s straight-line feature also minimizes abrasion for long-lasting performance.

Rotary Airlock Feeders
These rotary airlock feeders offer a broad range of sizes, features, and capabilities. They are available in standard-duty, heavy-duty, sanitary-valve, and custom-valve series to meet most application needs. The standard-duty series are used in low-pressure conveying and dust collection applications. Heavy-duty HD series airlocks are designed for rugged applications and engineered for high-pressure, high-temperature service conditions requiring an outboard-bearing-style unit. The sanitary-valve SV series features the Kwik-Klean and Klean-In-Place models. The CV custom-valve series is designed to handle oversized materials, high pressures, and extreme temperatures.

Valves
Standard Britton Procol slide valve types available include simple manual slide valves, enclosed, dust-tight valves with pneumatic or screw operation, and pressure- and vacuum-tight valves for use in pneumatic conveying systems. Also available is a full line of rotary valves, scaled valves, and convey-line diverter valves. Valves are produced in mild steel, cast aluminum, or cast stainless steel to suit the needs of the application.

Inflatable Seated Butterfly Valve
This inflatable seated butterfly valve is suited for abrasive materials such as sand, feldspar, fly ash, and most other dry, granular materials that reduce valve life. The inflatable seat design provides a better seal by utilizing air pressure to expand the seat against the disc, providing more sealing area and an even pressure distribution against the disc. The seat automatically compensates for wear when it inflates against the disc, extending valve life.

Quick-Take-Apart Rotary Valve
The model DT800U airlock is a quick-take-apart rotary valve with USDA Dairy acceptance. Standard rotor-assist slider bars enable reliable rotor access and cleaning. The housing and end caps are cast stainless steel and feature thick wall sections for resistance to warping. The rotors are standard eight-blade fixed bevel tip with options to include a super-seal nine-blade configuration. The rotor is supported by two full-size bearings located at each end of the valve and is adjusted through a microadjust rotor-centering mechanism. Standard seals are air purged with hard chromed seal journals for long life. All parts are CNC machined and of high quality.

Iris Diaphragm Valve
The Mucon iris diaphragm valve offers strong, gentle, and precise flow control of powder and granular materials. Available in manual, pneumatic, and motorized operation, the valve’s dusttight design allows for infinite flow control from full bore to trickle feed. The valve is available in a variety of materials suited to any application and is easily cleaned with tool-free maintenance.
