Torex Rotary Valves
June 17, 2013
Designed for maximum versatility in applications, Torex RVS-type blow-through rotary valves provide bulk material processing operations, continuous performance, and reduced maintenance. Rotary valves are ideal when controlled feeding from or into silos and hoppers is needed in a very confined space is required. RVS-type blow-through rotary valves have been developed in accordance with the criteria of meeting a maximum scope in application. They have been designed for the controlled discharging of powders or granular materials from silos, bins, hoppers, cyclones, or dust collectors into low- and medium-pressure pneumatic conveying lines.
The valves consist of a tubular cast iron or stainless steel casing, a horizontally mounted rotor with a defined number of oblique V-shaped cross section compartments, a drive unit, and a casing cover at each end.
