Blow Through Rotary Airlock

The DMN BL blow through rotary airlock valve is designed for metering and pneumatic conveying of products in powder and granular form. The valve achieves high fill efficiencies with minimum air leakage, due to precise machining and tight rotor clearances. The BL is supplied in cast iron, 316 stainless steel, or aluminum. It is available in sizes from 6 to 14 in. and can handle temperatures up to 302°F and pressures up to 29 psi. The standard rotor has nine fixed blades, but various rotor configurations are also available. USDA Dairy Accepted models are supplied for sanitary use in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. These stainless steel valves have an easy detachable rotor and meet the highest hygienic standards. The valve is also available in MZC execution, which allows operators to easily remove the rotor and end cover without damaging the housing. Versions conforming to ATEX 94/9/EC and NFPA 69 standards are also offered for explosion containment.
