CRH Group has contracted with Temcor to build a limestone storage dome at another of its facilities, the Podilsky Cement plant in Kamyanets-Podilsky, Ukraine.

In 2007, Temcor built a 105-m-diam. aluminum dome at the Platin Works cement plant in Drogheda, Ireland, near Dublin. The Platin Works plant and Podilsky are part of CRH Group.
 
The dome at Podilsky, like the one in Ireland, will be a 105-m-diam. aluminum dome for limestone storage. Custom features will include a conveyor opening, truck access and man doors with dormers, and a gravity vent at the top of the dome. The dome was designed to withstand heavy snow loads. All-aluminum construction will keep the dome maintenance- and corrosion-free for years.
