Hammer Mills for Crushing, Grinding, Pulverizing

These hammer mills operate with a rain of hammer or ring blows to shatter and disintegrate materials for crushing, grinding, and pulverizing. The finished product size depends upon the size of openings in perforated screens/grate bars, the number and style of hammers, the setting of adjustable grinding plates, and rotor speed. Hammer mills require less maintenance and allow for easy access for adjustments and replacements. They are available for a variety of size reduction applications, including alum cake, bran, coal, fish scrap, gypsum, limestone, shelled corn, steamed bone, wood, dried milk, oats, salt cake, and animal tankage. Seven standard models are available with up or down running models. Custom sizes are also offered for specialty applications.
