Metal Magnetic Separators Receive USDA Dairy Acceptance

Magnattack metal magnetic separators, distributed in the U.S. by Powder-Solutions Inc., have received USDA Dairy Acceptance.  

“USDA Dairy Acceptance gives our customers peace of mind, reinforcing the great measures we’ve taken to ensure the engineering, sanitary design and execution of our equipment for product safety,” said Marv Deam, CEO of Powder-Solutions Inc.  

The four sanitary models included are Rapidclean, round pipe separator, MAG-RAM, and powder transfer magnet.  

“A key requirement of the USDA Dairy inspection process is that hygiene, construction, and design criteria can only be inspected on actual equipment,” said Scott Lodermeier of Powder-Solutions Inc. “USDA Dairy Acceptance certifies Magnattack designs have passed a physical inspection by a USDA AMS dairy grading branch inspector. Inspector verifies all criteria conformed to the requirements, including ensuring product contact surfaces were the required smoothness, free from pits and crevices, had the required radii in corners, and were accessible for cleaning and inspection.”
