Magnetic Protection for Processing Lines

Industrial Magnetics’ hump magnets are designed to simplify the cleaning process and to increase processing line efficiency. IMI’s complete line of hump-style plate magnets can be provided with engineered chutes to fit directly into processing lines. Customer-specified inlet and outlet requirements can be accommodated using custom-designed housings, round or rectangular transitions, flanges, and more. Housings and chutes are available for single plate magnets, multiple plate magnets, and for manual, EZ, or self-cleaning models. Ceramic circuitry is best for the capture of larger contaminants, while Rare Earth will capture smaller metal fines and other weakly magnetic contaminants. The design includes all stainless steel construction and DE-STA-CO clamps for a positive seal. Other options such as food-grade finish, pre-drilled flanges, collection pans for contaminants, and wear-resistant finish options for abrasive product, make these hump magnets ideal for product purification applications where plate-style magnets are the best fit.
