Semidense-Phase Conveyors

HC-series conveyors offer a new range of high-capacity semidense-phase pneumatic conveying for single or multiple ingredients. They are designed to handle abrasive and fluidizable materials. Standard units have conveying capacities up to 80 tons/hr or more, depending on model and application. They can be used for bulk bag, railcar, and trailer unloading and in-plant transfer. Equipped with optional load cells, they can weigh and batch. They also perform inventory control.

Vacuum Conveyors

The IC series of vacuum conveyors provides energy-efficient, automated material handling in a variety of manufacturing environments. Featuring patented Coax multistage ejector technology, the series consumes less energy than other compressed-air-driven technology. Designed for safely conveying virtually all types of materials, these conveyors transport flakes, pellets, and powders in a variety of applications, such as painting, textile coloring, water purification, rubber mixing, and tile molding. They are completely enclosed, protecting users from inhaling potentially harmful ingredients and preventing materials from damage resulting from external elements.

Dense-Phase Pneumatic Conveying Systems

These dense-phase pneumatic conveying systems utilize small amounts of high-pressure low-velocity air to gently transfer controlled “slugs” of dry powdered or granular materials through enclosed convey lines. The systems are ideal for abrasive, fragile, friable, or mixed-batch materials. They reduce component wear and minimize product breakage, degradation, and segregation. System efficiency is enhanced by injecting air using Air Assist units that are strategically placed along the conveying line, reducing overall resistance and lowering air-pressure requirements.

Compact Vacuum Conveyor

The MiniVac features easy side access for filter inspection and changeover. It also utilizes a regenerative blower and an adjustable pulse-jet-filter cleaning system to provide efficient operation. The compact, lightweight package has a heavy-duty design and performance capacity ranges of 800 to¬ 5000 lb/hr. Units can be easily disassembled for cleaning, and sanitary and pharmaceutical models are available. Discharge options include intermittent (batch) pneumatic-operated valves or slide valves (shown). Rotary valves are provided for continuous transfer. The MiniVac can also be adapted to weigh-system operations.

Conveying Systems

Company offers 16 different pneumatic conveying concepts—four different vacuum conveying systems and 12 different pressure conveying systems. Each unit has a unique set of operating characteristics for pressure, conveying-line velocity, efficiency, and performance. Because each material to be conveyed reacts differently under a given set of operating conditions, it is critical to match system operating characteristics with the material to be conveyed in order to achieve the most desired conveying performance and to provide the best value. The 16 different systems can convey at almost any velocity desired to suit a given material.

Dual-Line Pneumatic Conveying System

Each of the pressure dense-phase conveying systems pictured has two separate conveying lines. This allows one line to be cleaned in place while the other is conveying, so that material flow to the batching process is never interrupted and production is maximized. Pressure dense-phase systems convey powders from a single point to multiple destinations, especially over long distances. They are ideal for conveying fragile agglomerated and instantized powders that require low material velocity and minimal degradation. Models for USDA dairy are available.

Pneumatic Conveying Systems

These pneumatic conveying systems streamline dilute-phase handling of dry bulk solids and provide dust control. The company also offers air management systems and pneumatic conveying components such as blower packages, airlocks, receivers, and bag dump stations. Positive-displacement blower packages feature heavy-duty frames and adjustable motor bases, as well as inlet and outlet silencers for a quieter working environment—indoors or out. With fabricated steel rotors and rugged cast housings made of carbon or stainless steel, the systems have machined airlocks that are built for the high-pressure, heavy-duty demands of dilute-phase conveying.
