NSF Int’l, IDMA Offer Pharmaceutical QM Course in India
February 10, 2017
Global public health and safety organization NSF International and the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) are partnering to offer a five-module pharmaceutical quality management (PQM) program in Bangalore, India.
Starting in September 2017, the Advanced Program in Pharmaceutical Quality Management includes five four-day modules every other month. Participants can complete the course in 10 months and earn a certification in GMP compliance from NSF International and IDMA.
“India is one of the world’s largest producers of generic pharmaceuticals and IDMA is aware of the changing global regulatory expectations that require a focus on holistic management of quality rather than compliance with minimum regulatory standards,” said S.V. Veerramani, national president of IDMA, in a statement. “IDMA believes that education and development of quality leadership in the industry would serve as a foundation for continued compliance and for building a culture of quality.”
Pre-registration informational sessions will be held in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai the week of Feb. 12, 2017.
