Manual Bag Dump Stations
These manual bag dump stations provide complete, compact work areas for breaking and dumping bags of material into conveying systems. Each station is equipped with a cartridge filter dust collector, exhaust fan, and collecting hopper to prevent product waste. The airborne fines produced by emptying bags of material into the unit are drawn away from the work area and captured by the cartridge. When the cartridge is reverse-pulse cleaned, the collected fines are released into the hopper and conveyed to the process, ensuring that all material is recovered and utilized. Standard features include heavy-duty steel construction, high-efficiency filter media, and manually operated cartridge cleaning. Optional features include hopper aeration and stainless-steel construction.

Semiautomatic Bag Palletizer
The Model 72SA semiautomatic bag palletizer improves the efficiency and ergonomics of hand-palletizing heavy bagged products. Sturdy and compact, the unit automatically lifts, positions, and loads bagged product from a low-level orientation table onto an awaiting pallet. Bags are easily oriented on soft-touch ball-bearing rollers by an operator, who slides the properly positioned bags over a low-friction roller transfer table to create complete layers. Once a layer is completed, the operator presses a push-button control to activate the machine. The layer is automatically lifted and deposited on the previous pallet layer, and the transfer table returns to its original position for the next load.

High-Speed Bag Palletizing
Robotic palletizers offer customers high-speed palletizing at 25 bags/min with the ability to handle open-mouth, valve, and poly bags with zero change time and few adjustments. The units have few moving parts, reducing overall machine wear. Their simple design, high speed, and low maintenance assure increased uptime. They are energy-efficient and feature a touch screen interface for user-friendly pattern programming.

Bulk Bag Unloader
The Big Bag unloader combines the efficiency and reliability of the mechanical discharger, accurate feeding, and complete bulk bag discharge. Each unit incorporates an arch breaker spindle mounted with flexible blades that extract the bulk chemicals and prevent any jamming, bridging, or compaction caused by vibration. Depending on the process, the discharger can be integrated with 1, 2, 3, or 4 independent screw feeders, allowing for accurate conveying to different injection points with only one unloader. The unit is spring loaded on telescopic arms that always tighten the bag, ensuring that none of the product remains on the side of the bag while it is being discharged. The system prevents any leakage and guarantees dust-free operation.

Combination Bulk Bag and Drum Filler
This combination bulk bag/drum filler features a fill head that pivots down for connecting empty bags at floor level and a swing-arm-mounted chute for filling drums. The unit’s swing-down fill head enables the operator to connect bag spouts and resume filling operations rapidly, eliminating the need to step over roller conveyors, strain to reach overhead connection points, or risk injury associated with operation of conventional bulk bag fillers. The unit can be switched to drum-filling mode in several seconds by positioning the swing-arm-mounted drum-filling chute under the fill-head discharge port. Once the filling cycle has been initiated, the chute will automatically index to each drum and deliver the proper weight of material without further operator interaction.

Custom Bulk Bag Unloaders
BulkBuster bulk bag unloaders provide the solution for effectively emptying large bulk bags and getting material where it needs to be. Every material has different handling characteristics. Some materials gravity feed easily, but most do not. That’s why all bulk bag unloaders need to be engineered for the specific material to ensure that the process will run smoothly to maximize uptime. Many styles and proven designs are available.

Variable-Flow-Rate Bulk Bag Unloader
This variable-flow-rate bulk bag unloader provides continuous discharge of material from bulk bags. It can regulate or stop flow in accordance with system requirements. The unit provides controlled and variable flow from bulk bags without the need for a separate feeder or conveyor. Two vibrators mounted on opposite sides of the unloader’s support hopper create movement of material through an integral sealed feed tube. When vibration is stopped, bag discharge and material feed immediately cease without the need for additional valves. The unit can be run volumetrically or be equipped with load cells.

Automated Bulk Bag Filling System
This totally automatic bag-filling system allows one person to operate two bag-filling systems and is able to fill up to 40 bags per hour. The material is introduced into the system using the customer’s process or a bulk bag discharging station, at which time the material is packaged into bulk bags using the bag-filling equipment. The system will be designed to fill the bulk bags to the predetermined weight at an accuracy of ±½% per container (or better) with a hang-weigh scale system. This system is as automatic as hanging a bag and walking away, creating an efficient and safe work flow.
