Pin and Paddle Mixers

The paddle mixer has a horizontal u-shape trough design, with dual paddles extending the length of the trough. The paddles rotate material from the trough top, to the side and back up between the shafts with a kneading and folding effect. It is ideal for processing heavy materials like sludge. The pin mixer is a cylinder-shaped stationary piece of equipment with an interior rotor spanning the length. Rods, or pins, extend outward from the rotor. The pin mixer works when the motor spins the rotor at a constant speed, removing air and decreasing water volume between particles. This equipment is ideal for processing fine materials such as coal dust.
