Heavy-Duty Aero-Mechanical Conveyor

The heavy-duty TransVair mechanical conveyor (TMC) is manufactured for users that need to operate 24 hours a day and require an internal pressure rating up to 100 psig for handing explosive products. Dust- and gas-tight, the TMC has a patented O-ring tube-seal design, outboard greasable bearings, triple-lip seals on sprocket shafts, an optional lantern ring and purge, and a handwheel-operated rope tensioner for quick tensioning. The unit uses the company’s standard Max-Life ropes, which are available from stock.

Conveyor-Belt Repair Kit

The Flexane belt repair kit is a ready-to-use, off-the-shelf product for making fast, permanent emergency repairs to damaged conveyor belts, rubber rollers, or other rubber or elastomeric components. Each kit contains two units of Flexane 80 putty (enough to cover up to 188 sq in. at a thickness of ¼ in.), an applicator, cleaner, and two kinds of primers. The putty is a 100%-solids urethane compound that is resistant to impact, abrasion, vibration, expansion, and contraction. It is easy to mix, trowels on smoothly, and cures to a tough, medium-hard rubber (Shore A 87). It can be used at service temperatures up to 120ºF wet and 180ºF dry.

Aero-Mechanical Conveyors

These aero-mechanical conveyors are ideal for transporting material from 10 to 85 ft at rates of up to 120 tn/hr. Benefits include low energy requirements, dust-free transport with minimal product degradation, and virtually no mixture separation. Besides providing total-batch transport, the units offer totally contained dust-free delivery and operation at any angle. They can also convey vertically at heights up to 85 ft without loss in capacity. The system can be set up as a straight-line operation or in a variety of around-the-corner configurations.

Bucket Elevators

Econ-O-Lift bucket elevators are used in sanitary to tough applications in a range of industries, from food to heavy-duty industrial processing such as catalyst hydro-processing. They are especially ideal for gentle handling applications requiring damage-free product transfer and other applications that demand resistance to abrasive products such as catalyst and petrochemicals. They are custom designed to precise requirements and offer maximum durability and easy installation. Bucket sizes range from 6 to 48 in. wide, depending on the application; capacities up to 2500 cu ft/hr are available. Buckets are designed to remain upright (except at discharge) throughout the process to ensure product integrity.

Flexible-Screw Conveyor

The Aero-Flex flexible-screw conveyor provides an economic method of metering product from bulk bag unloaders, bag dump stations, and storage vessels. Available in a range of popular sizes, the unit transfers powders over distances of up to 40 ft and rates to 10 tn/hr for materials with a bulk density of 40 lb/cu ft. Applications include the refilling of packaging machine hoppers, metering feed into mix tanks such as lime addition, and gain-in-weight hopper filling and bulk bag discharging.

Bottom-Drive Aero-Mechanical Conveyor

This aero-mechanical conveyor has a drive on the bottom for handling bulk dry powders. The bottom-drive unit offers longer cable life than other configurations and the drive end of the conveyor is easier to maintain. With an excellent tensioning system, the unit can be built up to 25 ft long. Features include clean-in-place housings, independent tensioning, and flood-feed inlets. The unique combination of fluidized and mechanically assisted conveying enables high transfer rates at low power levels.

Bag-Flattener Conveyor

The Model 4215 bag flattener is an in-line belt conveyor that is designed to send uniformly shaped bags to the palletizing station. This system utilizes a top and bottom conveyor to press and shape the bag. The conveyor has two independent drives and spring-loaded height adjustment for multiple-sized bags. It also includes a safety cable E-stop shutdown on both belts. Available options include a powered in feed section and a hydraulic-controlled swivel boom section for hand palletizing. This conveyor is available in various configurations to accommodate diverse applications. It is well suited to all bagging operations that use a robotic bag palletizer, forming uniformly shaped bags to achieve a well-cubed pallet shape and more-stable loads.
