President George Bush was in Grand Rapids, Michigan to speak with area business leaders on Wednesday, October 15. Flexco Grand Rapids general manager, Nancy Ayres, was one of nine area business leaders selected to attend lunch with President Bush at Schnitz Ada Grill.

“We had the opportunity to meet, eat, and speak with the President for about 75 minutes at a local deli,” Ayres said. “Politics aside, it was quite an experience. There were four manufacturers at the table so, in addition to talking about the economy in general and the economic rescue plan, we also had a discussion about manufacturing. It was certainly a once in a lifetime experience.”
