Conveying Equipment Orders Drop

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its November 2019 booked orders decreased 10.6% when compared to November 2018 orders.

When compared to October 2019, November 2019 booked orders were down 35.8%.

November booked orders were down 29% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 38.4% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.

CEMA’s November 2019 billed sales (shipments) decreased by 13% when compared to November 2018 sales.

When compared to October, November 2019 billed sales were up 7.2%.

November billed sales were down 28.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 26.0% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.
