QComp Technologies Signs Babush Material Handling Systems as Newest Authorized Distributor
June 9, 2009
QComp Technologies Inc., a leading robotics integrator, has announced that it has signed Babush Material Handling Systems of Sussex, WI as its newest distributor of palletizing equipment. As QComp’s newest authorized distributor, Babush will add the QComp Compact Lean Palletizer (CLP) to its material handling product offerings.
“Babush is a leading single-source solutions provider with extensive expertise in material handling and we share a joint commitment to offering only the best solutions for any given application,” said Tom Doyle, president of QComp Technologies Inc. “We believe our CLP system is a natural fit for their solution offerings as it will give their customers the option to more efficiently use their production floor space while maximizing their return on investment.”
“Our commitment to our customers includes the belief that we will not just sell them commodity products but we’ll work with them to find the right solution for their needs so when we bring on a new partner we’re looking for companies with that similar belief system,” said Chris Shult, president of Babush Material Handling Systems. “We concluded that QComp has the same dedication to its customers and their CLP system will be a valuable addition to our material handling solutions.”
By virtue of its small footprint, the CLP allows customers to palletize at the user’s point of production eliminating long costly conveyor runs to centralized palletizing areas. The frame mounted and pre-assembled palletizer can be installed in a day and features the reliable and robust ABB IRB 260 robot with packing rates of up to 15 cases/min with a single case pick. The system is available in multiple pallet patterns, can use manual forklifts or AGVs, and features instantaneous tool changing.
