Shaft Rotation Speed Sensors

The patented ST420, ST420-LT, and ST420-DI are two-wire, loop-powered, analog-output shaft speed sensors. They detect passing magnets of a shaft-mounted pulser disc or wrap and output a smooth, continuous 4-20 mA analog signal in direct proportion to shaft rotation speed. The ST420 is Intrinsically Safe for Class I and II hazardous locations. The ST420-LT and ST420-DI have integral conduit attachments, are NEMA 4X, IP65 and Dust Ignition-proof for Class II hazardous locations. All models have rugged stainless-steel M18x1 housings for harsh environments and require no user calibration. Custom measurement ranges are available upon request.
