Acoustic 3D Level Scanner
June 12, 2015
The Acoustic 3D level scanner is an advanced ultrasonic level and volume measurement system for dry solids and powders. Each of the three horn antennas transmits a different low-frequency pulse and records the time/distance of each echo and its direction. The digital signal processor then analyzes these received signals to produce a volume accuracy of +/-1% (with the correct number of scanners). The output signals are 4-20mA HART and MODBUS RTU. The dust-penetrating technology can measure any solids material: carbon black, lime, coal, wood chips, titanium dioxide, fly ash, plastic pellets, and more.
