A fire broke out at a Frito Lay potato chip manufacturing plant in Charlotte, N.C. on Thursday, prompting the evacuation of about 200 employees working at the site, local news organizations reported.

Officials told local NBC News affiliate WCNC that the blaze started in a potato chip fryer’s exhaust vent and that firefighters were able to keep the flames contained to the piece of equipment. No injuries were reported.

Fire crews responded to the site after flames and smoke were spotted on the facility’s roof.

The Charlotte Fire Department told local television news station Fox 46 that the cause of the fire was ruled to be accidental and that damages are estimated to total about $5000.
