One worker died and three others were injured after a fire erupted at the Blue Jet Healthcare pharmaceutical plant in Thane, a city on the northwestern side of the state of Maharashtra in India Saturday.

Officials said the fire occurred in a chemical section of the plant before spreading to other sections of the facility.

According to its website, the company manufactures integrated contrast media intermediates for X-ray and MRI procedures.
