Officials estimate that a fire at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation processing plant in Kea’au, HI on Monday caused some $105,000 in damages, local news organizations reported.

Flames broke out in a building containing a macadamia nut husk dryer, with fire crews responding to the scene at about 2:50 a.m. Monday morning. Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire until about 7:45 a.m. due to smoldering nut mulch, according to the Hawaii Tribune-Herald.

No injuries were reported during the incident. Inspectors from the Hawai’i Fire Department are working to determine the cause of the fire.
