Pancake Feeder

The pancake feeder solves both stack up height and flow issues on bulk powder processing. When mated to the discharge of the bulk bag unloader outlet, stack up height is greatly reduced when compared to conventional airlocks. It works well on powders that flood easily, like starches and cocoas. When mounted at the inlet or outlet of a volumetric feeder, flooding issues are no longer an issue. Its slim profile mates to common ANSI flanges, which makes retrofitting to an existing process a possibility. It is available in sizes from 6 to 12 in. in diameter, and with an electric drive or pneumatic actuator.
