Volumetric Feeders
For volumetric feeding applications, Tuf-Flex Series Feeders handle a variety of fine powders, flakes, granules, chips and pellets. Designed with a unique form of agitation, they are manufactured with a Tuf-Flex vinyl hopper that is agitated on the exterior by two alternating paddles. The paddle action gently massages the material down into the metering screw, eliminating ratholing and bridging while conditioning material into a consistent bulk density. The helix flights are filled uniformly, resulting in high accuracy. They are offered in model sizes accommodating feed rates from .000017 to 280 cu ft/hour.

Complete Clean-Out Feeders
Model 170 Series feeders are specifically designed for complete and total product clean-out. Ideally suited for applications where rapid product changeover is a requirement and where near-zero downtime is critical, they are available in five model sizes with a feed range from 0.0012 to 270 cu ft/hour. These all steel, industrial-duty feeders will handle a variety of dry solid materials without the need for mechanical changes. They will self-empty and offer a discharge port that enables rapid emptying of product when required.

Volumetric Feeders

Sorting & Grading Machine
This sorting and grading unit is designed to feed, sort and grade components like shims that need to be graded according to their thickness. It operates at a speed in excess of 150 ppm, depending on the size of the components. The system utilizes a vibratory bowl feeder that feeds the parts to a set of powered gauge rolls, powered by a geared motor. The inclination of the rolls, plus adjustable roll spacing from one end to the other enables parts to move easily and rapidly into the desired position toward the discharge point. Undersized parts are first separated, followed by those within tolerance. Oversize and damaged parts continue to the end of the rolls and are discharged into a separate container.

Air-Activated Feeder
The Dyna-Slide high precision air activated feeder with “Dribble Feed Control” will provide up to a 100:1 turndown ratio when feeding most fine (30 mesh to sub-micron) fluidizable powders and granules. It has completely variable feed rates from as low as a few grams per minute to hundreds of pounds per minute and is ideally suited for feeding weigh scales or other process equipment where close, high tolerance feed rates are required. It combines low pressure compressed air and gravity to fluidize and convey most fine dry granular materials. The low profile design is totally enclosed and dust-free, making it ideal for conveying from silos to weigh scales, hoppers to weigh scales and/or feeding from multiple discharge points to mixers.
