Mars Petcare Expands Pet Nutrition Leadership Team

Pet products maker Mars Petcare named Ruben Cejudo to the leadership team of Mars Pet Nutrition North America after he recently joined the company as vice president of its North American supply chain.

Cejudo brings about three decades of experience in supply chain strategy and end-to-end (E2E) supply chain solutions to the role. His most recent role was Vice President of Supply Chain, Global Hair Care & Deodorants at Unilever, where he managed all aspects of supply chain strategy for global innovation, designed and implemented E2E supply chain solutions, and expanded organizational capabilities for people, processes, and systems.

Prior to his tenure at Unilever, the executive worked for more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble in supply chain and global roles. Cejudo helped to implement planning ceneters in the United States and reconfigured the hair care supply chain in Brazil while at the consumer products firm.

“As a seasoned leader with deep end-to-end supply chain expertise, I’m confident that Ruben will help create our supply chain of the future, positioning Mars Petcare to win in the digital age now and for the years to come,” Ikdeep Singh, regional president, Mars Pet Nutrition North America, said in a company release.

Cejudo replaces Chris Sackree, who is moving to another position at Mars. As he steps into the new role, Cejudo will work on Mars Petcare’s E2E supply chain and lead a team across the Mars Pet Nutrition network.
