Processing Plant Explosion Injures Two

Two employees were hospitalized after an explosion at Jamaica Broilers processing facility in St. Catherine, Jamaica November 6.

According to the company, the incident occurred at about 2pm (local) at the Best Dressed Chicken further processing facility. The injuries were not considered serious. No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
