Passive Isolation Valve
passive_Valve.jpg

The ATEX passive isolation valve is fully passive device and does not require active dust management or low Pred values to function properly. A metal-to-metal seal eliminates temperature considerations and gasket failures. Through the use of standard frangible vents, re-settable explosion doors, and/or flameless explosion vents, the valve provides a fully passive system to meet your process operations. In addition, many passive devices have additional problems with respect to air flow and pressure release. The field pressure adjustment system compensates for process flow conditions, allowing the pressure setting to be based on a differential between the normal process air flow and the flow and pressure associated with a deflagration.
