A mixing unit caught fire Friday morning at the Nestle plant in Burlington, WI. When they were finally able to reach it, fire crews quickly put out the blaze. However, a second alarm was issued roughly 45 minutes later for additional crews.
More than 50 firefighters responded to the fire. Nestle workers were evacuated and no injuries were reported. No damage estimate was provided.
Firefighters were venting the area and conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire.
