Corrosion-Resistant Sanitary Rupture Discs

The Axius SC sanitary rupture disc is specifically designed for the stringent sanitary and aseptic requirements of the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. In many situations, Hastelloy is preferred over stainless steel because of its corrosion resistance in demanding applications. That option has not been available until now.
 
After years of research and development, a new high-tech manufacturing process now allows Fike to offer the Axius SC in Hastelloy C276, as well as 316/316L stainless steel. It includes a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
 
In both Hastelloy and stainless steel, the Axius SC is free of any indentations, crevices, or other design features that may trap process contaminants. The design also carries the independently certified 3-A 60-01 standard marking, and is suitable for CIP/SIP cleaning processes. The Axius SC in Hastelloy C276 material is available with a broad burst pressure range similar to the existing 316/316L stainless steel, making it a choice for standardization in your facility.
