Large-Capacity Blowers

With pressures to 91 in. wg and volumes to 18,000 CFM, Chicago’s Design 53 pressure blowers fill the growing need for greater pressures and volume. These larger capacity blowers satisfy higher filtration requirements for dense solids media. In addition, these blowers are well suited for pneumatic conveying and the most advanced pollution control systems. Features include a lightweight aluminum alloy wheel or carbon steel wheel to handle increased tip speeds at temperatures to 650°F. Both wheels come standard with welded construction to handle the most demanding applications. The fan housing and motor base are constructed of heavy gauge steel to support motor sizes to 300 HP with a 449T frame. The Design 53 pressure blower line consists of six inlet/outlet sizes with 70 wheel/housing combinations. Along with a choice of arrangements and discharge positions, there’s a model for virtually every application or installation.
