Heumann Environmental, a company that solves pollution control and industrial processing needs, has hired Dennis Roederer as senior sales manager.

Heumann Environmental provides engineering consulting services, and designs and manufactures high-efficiency cyclones for particulate separation.

"Dennis brings a broad array of experience to HEC, having worked in this industry for decades," said chief executive officer Bill Heumann. “His addition to our team strengthens our knowledge base and helps HEC continue its growth by solving customer needs."

Through his four-decade career in the dust collection industry, Roederer has managed a variety of projects in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Central and South America. Before joining Heumann Environmental, Roederer was regional sales manager for Fisher-Klosterman Inc. of Louisville, where he had full responsibility for sales and project management in the Southwest U.S., and for other accounts. He joined F-K in 1997 as a senior project engineer, developing customer proposals involving cyclones, scrubber, and bag house applications.

Roederer previously worked with Procedair Industries Corp., directing the installation of dry scrubbing and other pollution control systems at steel mills and cement, brick, and aluminum plants inside and outside the U.S. He was a principal at Dustex Corp. in Charlotte, a company that served the wood products, rock, and asphalt industries with pollution control equipment. His career began at American Air Filter in Louisville.

Roederer studied industrial technology at Eastern Kentucky University, and is credited with developing a high-temperature mobile fabric filter used in soil remediation applications.

Based in Louisville, HEC specializes in high-efficiency cyclones, and complements the use of cyclones with an array of scrubber and filter technology. The company is a division of Andrew Elliot Group, a private equity holding company.
