Emergency personnel were called to an Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) facility in Decatur, IL early Saturday morning after a dust explosion and fire were reported, coverage by several local news organizations said.

The explosion occurred at about 1 a.m. in a grain elevator that is part of the company’s soy and corn processing complex in Decatur, ADM told the Decatur Herald-Review. Firefighters discovered fire in a conveyor system at the site.

ADM said in a report by television news station WAND that the company is working to gauge the level of damage to the grain elevator and investigating the cause of the incident. No injuries were logged.

The agribusiness’ 1125-acre production complex in Decatur produces bulk food ingredients from corn and soybeans, ethanol, and lysine, according to information provided by The Center for Land Use Interpretation.
