Vertical Cartridge Collectors
The Model UVC Ultra-Flo vertical pulse-jet cartridge collector is used for a variety of in-plant air quality problems. The compact design utilizes standard 12¾ × 26-in.-long cartridges engineered for optimal performance and efficiency. Individual access doors allow simple, tool-free cartridge replacement. The unit can be configured with as many as 36 cartridges per module to handle air volumes up to 28,000 cfm. The modular design allows for multiple units to be stacked together to handle any airflow.

Pulse-Jet Dust Collectors
The filter media of these pulse-jet dust collectors is cleaned by powerful short pulses of compressed air. Pulse jets are used in a variety of applications, including recycling, seed, grain, woodworking, steel, mining, aggregate, biofuels, food processing, pet food, agricultural, chemical processing, paper scrap, and fiberglass. Standard features include: fully welded heavy-duty carbon-steel construction; steel stiffeners for reinforcement; NEMA 4–timer and solenoid enclosures; primed and painted exteriors with PPG industrial enamel; and a tool-free maintenance door. The four standard models are: vacuum receiver, top loading/top access, top loading/walk-in plenum, and bottom loading.

Telescopic Spout
The Dust Devil is a telescopic spout that minimizes dust when loading free-flowing materials. The tough and simple design reduces dust inside a facility, which helps to keep equipment and lungs a lot cleaner. Its design uses flexible polyethylene spouts that will last for years. Diameters of 12, 14, and 18 in. are available. An electric model with remote-mounted controls and a manual model with a hand winch are available. The unit can be installed on the end of a conveyor or existing spout in about an hour and can be used with virtually any free-flowing material.

Flexible Hose
The AHPLUS flexible hose is designed for durability through reinforced construction. A replacement for older, polyester neoprene hoses, this hose combines the best qualities of the company’s top-selling hoses with improved puncture-, moisture-, and tear-resistance. Strong and flexible, it is suited for a wide range of oil, mist, dust, smoke, fume, and airborne particle collection applications. It withstands ozone, chemical, weather, UV, aqueous, oil, and hydrocarbon-rich environments. Its distinct royal blue color enhances visibility in small shop and industrial settings.

Tight-Fitting Clamp
The overlap design of the Quick-Seal clamp creates downward pressure on all 360° of the seal. This uniform force creates an even tighter seal, especially for low positive-pressure systems. Air leakage is minimized and the fans don’t have to work as hard, which results in energy savings. The clamp also features a longer, stronger handle to improve leverage for easier clamping. It is standard on all Quick-Fit ducting orders.

Clear Plastic Molded Miniature Cyclone
The Dust Deputy converts an ordinary shop vacuum into a high-efficiency cyclone vacuum. It separates more than 99% of all dust and material before the vacuum barrel, which inexpensively solves filter clogs and maintenance problems. Material separation is easy to see in the clear cyclone with nearly all waste going into the container under the cyclone, and not into the shop vacuum. It is ideal for separating wood, drywall, carbon, and many other fine dusts that would quickly clog the vacuum filter. The static-dissipative clear plastic molded miniature cyclone can be mounted directly on,
or used with, any standard shop vacuum.

Retrofit Dust Collector Cartridges
HemiPleat filters easily retrofit to existing dust collection equipment. The filters use an open-pleat media technology that results in more-effective cleaning and better airflow. This leads to long element life and excellent energy performance. The advanced high-efficiency PolyTech media are available in five standard types to meet different performance requirements.

Baghouse Controller
This baghouse controller features DeviceNet communications for integration with Allen-Bradley PLCs. DeviceNet is a simple networking solution that reduces the cost and time required to wire and install industrial automation devices, and is an effective way to provide access to information in intelligent controls. The company’s B-PAC series of baghouse performance analyzers and controllers feature advanced intelligence, such as the ability to instantly detect and locate failed solenoids and filter leaks. The controllers also lower energy use by employing intelligent pulse cleaning. DeviceNet communications allow plant operators to receive the wealth of information and control options provided through a single DeviceNet cable.

Nozzle-Based Cleaning System
This company offers a complete line of baghouse and cartridge collectors with features that include a nozzle-based cleaning system, which induces more cleaning air into the media. By improving the amount of cleaning air induced, the filter will last longer and allow more process air to pass through. The next generation of nozzle technology is now available.

Modular Cartridge Bin Vent
This modular cartridge bin vent provides economic air filtration. While material is pneumatically conveyed into the storage tank, fine airborne particles are trapped by the unit’s large cartridge filter. Timed bursts of air pulse the filter, which dislodges fines and returns them to the storage tank. The bin vent’s design features a built-in weather hood and diffuser. The quick-release clamp allows easy access to the cartridge filter. Since the height of the unit is less than 4 ft, maintenance is accomplished from the tank deck without tools. In addition, the single-cartridge filter design eliminates installation and service of multiple filter bags.

Self-Cleaning Dust Collector
The Modu-Kleen Series 250 dust collector is designed to vent bins, storage silos, mixers, blenders, pneumatic conveying systems of any type, or any other device or process that must contain or control dust particles. It can meet the most stringent air pollution codes. The unit is controlled by solid-state electronics and is self-cleaning for minimum maintenance. The filter bags are cleaned one row at a time, so the collector can operate continuously. There is no need to shut down for cleaning.

Horizontal Dust Collection Cyclones
In plants where space is tight or head room is limited, these horizontal dust collection cyclones maximize collection efficiency and cut overall costs, while meeting customers’ clean air needs. The HE (high-efficiency) series cyclones serve as primary receivers in dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems where conventional filter receivers might get plugged or overburdened by large airborne solids conveyed at extreme temperatures or with high moisture content. Units lie horizontally and can be custom built to meet user’s needs and space. Vertical units and other models are also available.
