Discharging Dry Goods as a Solid Column

The Dust Suppression Hopper (DSH) concentrates the discharge of dry goods as a solid column into any target repository including trucks, rail cars, ships, storage containers, or stockpiles. The system is sized based on an application’s load out rate and bulk density, and then simply installed under a feed point. The DSH does not require any electricity or compressed air to operate. There are no internal moving parts and little maintenance is required once the unit is installed. A separate dust extraction system is not needed as a majority of the dust is maintained in the product stream. The DSH system has been proven successful in fertilizer, grain, mineral, and foodstuff applications worldwide. Systems can be manufactured from a range of materials and can be sized to fit applications between 25 and 5000 tn/hr.
