The Condry cone central shaft mixer-dryer offer high mixing accuracy and low shear force to the products being mixed or dried. Typically used on powders, pastes, and slurries, its heated agitator design provides a large heat transfer surface, greatly reducing drying times. Many different processing tasks can be carried out simultaneously to include drying, mixing, heating/cooling, de-aeration, crystallization, granulation, agglomeration, and the injection of liquids or gases directly into the batch during processing in a totally enclosed safe environment. Typical applications include plastics, spices, adhesives, soap powders, food premixes, shampoos, toothpastes, gelatins, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
