Chemical- and Abrasion-Resistant Nameplates
April 9, 2015
These custom nameplates are made from plastic instead of metal to provide greater chemical-, weather-, and abrasion-resistance, with more design options.
NFi plastic nameplates are made from Mylar (polyester) or Lexan (polycar-bonate) and engineered adhesive combinations to provide optimum chemical, weather, and abrasion resistance. Featuring subsurface printing between the plastic substrate and the equipment’s surface, the image and data are protected from chemicals, weather, and rub-away caused by abrasion.
More durable and visible than metal nameplates, NFi plastic nameplates can incorporate full-color and metallic inks, photographs, sealed windows with serial numbers, date codes, and other details. Available 0.005 to 0.030 in. thick and in sizes up to 11x17 in., they can also incorporate mounting holes.
