Winston-Salem, NC-based SonicAire announced two new executive leadership promotions on Wednesday.

Jordan Newton was named vice president of innovation and engineering. Newton is now responsible for overseeing SonicAire’s fan design and engineering.

“Newton will oversee the development of our products, ensuring that SonicAire fans continue to comply with US and international standards,” Said Brad Carr, president of SonicAire in a press release. “Newton’s creative approach to engineering procedures promotes and environment of ingenuity and entrepreneurship, as we strive to remain on the cutting edge of providing innovative solutions for our clients.”

Newton is an engineer with experience in forensic engineering from Accident Reconstruction Analysis and as a project engineer with Underwriters Laboratories. Newton was hired by SonicAire in 2010 and advanced to vice president of sales and engineering before his latest promotion.

Former head of sales for the company’s Northeast region, John Sanders, was made vice president of sales and marketing, overseeing SonicAire’s sales teams and marketing efforts.

“Sanders will manage and support sales functions, coordinating sales efforts with marketing strategies and directives. With a wealth of skills and leadership experience that equip him to take SonicAire to the next level, Sanders has a proven track record in communicating our brand identity in the marketplace,” said Carr.
