K-Tron Process Group has formally announced its collaboration with Omya, Maag Pump Systems, Fine Organics, Coperion, and Automatik Plastics Machinery, presenting two complimentary technical seminars entitled, “Compounding of Filled Polymers”, that offer plastics processors detailed information on key topics of prime importance to the plastics industry.

Seminars are oriented to general managers, plant managers, technology managers, production engineers, purchasing managers, and all those involved in the operation and selection of manufacturing equipment and raw materials for their plastics compounding operations.

Participants will have an opportunity to listen to experts in each of the fields and ask questions about how to improve their current operations utilizing new technologies. Technical seminars will cover the latest developments in continuous feeding, mixing, pneumatic conveying, gear pumps, and filtration units, and the supply of specialty fillers and pigments to the plastics industry.

Seminars will be offered at convenient locations in Ahmedabad and Mumbai to provide plastic compounders in those geographic areas a unique opportunity to listen to experts in each of their fields.

These free one-day events will be held at two locations:

September 29, 2010, Courtyard by Marriott, Ramdevnagar Cross Roads, Satellite Near S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad – 380 015, India, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
