A 58-year-old worker at the Country Ribbon feed operation was temporarily trapped in the silo on Wednesday morning, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary told CBC News, and was later freed by a co-worker and first responders.
Fire and rescue crews responded to a call of an incident at the Country Ribbon feed store at about 9:30 am on Wednesday morning. As of Thursday, CBC News reported that the man is in hospital care and listed in stable condition.
