Snack Food Manufacturer Invests $4.4M to Open New Plant

Baked dessert snacks producer That’s How We Roll LLC plans to invest $4.4 million to open a new manufacturing plant in Springettsbury Township, PA after outgrowing its existing operations, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf announced in a recent release.

That’s How We Roll said it will acquire new equipment and renovate an existing facility in the Pennsylvania community to boost its production capacity and increase its range of product. The move is also intended to help the company meet current and future demand. 

“As our company continues its trajectory with some of America’s fastest growing snack brands, it is critical for us to invest in a city that has the right infrastructure, talent, and leadership. Springettsbury Township contains these important elements, and we expect that it will be an exceptional place to grow our business,” said the company’s chief executive officer, Samuel Kastenbaum, in a statement. “We are excited to expand our production here. We’re thrilled to be supporting local equipment manufacturers and suppliers, engaging local engineers and tradesmen, and joining this business community.”

The company manufactures snacks without GMOs, corn syrups, RBGH, and artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Its brands include ParmCrisps Snacks and THINSTERS cookies. 

Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) submitted a funding proposal to That’s How We Roll for a $200,000 Pennsylvania First grant and $54,000 for job training through the WEDnet PA program.
