Slide Valves
May 21, 2012
These valves consist of no more than three components: the body, the sliding blade, and the drive (hand wheel, electropneumatic actuator, or gear motor). Dismantling and assembly of the valve components is carried out in less than five minutes due to a specially designed incorporated inlet section made of an engineering polymer material Sinter or food-grade Sintal, no additional seals or packing glands are needed on either side of the body. The particular inclined shape of the inlet takes material pressure off the edges and eases opening and closing of the valve. A special design of the sliding blade and the body on both sides guarantees friction-free operation.
