Conveying of sticky powders was the underlying factor for the development of a blow-through rotary valve. The valves are available for various differential pressure applications for 22 to 50psi. Depending on the pressure, the open-end rotor is equipped with 12 or 14 vanes with beveled rotor tips. The valves are available for conveying capacities of 5 to 300 lb/hr, with inlet diameters ranging from 4 in. to 28 ft. The blow-through inlet and outlet channel is designed for high filling efficiency. The valves are available in stainless steel and in combination stainless steel rotor with AL housing. Special features for hot conveying applications up to 480°F, polished, and wear-resistant versions can be supplied as well. Double lip seals with shaft seal purge kit are standard.
