Gravity Vee Diverter

The Vortex Gravity Vee Diverter is designed to divert dry bulk solids in a gravity-flow conveying system. Traditional “A” valves or flap gates require material flow to be shut off before redirecting the material, often requiring an additional knife gate above the ”A” valve. The Gravity Vee Diverter allows for material flow through both outlets simultaneously, one outlet at a time, or a complete shut-off of flow. The dual slide gate design allows for individual actuators to independently control material flow through each outlet. Vortex’s Gravity Vee eliminates internal ledges where material can lodge or remain trapped, minimizing material cross contamination or spoilage. The self-cleaning action of the sliding blade removes material and eliminates material sticking, unlike traditional flapper diverters. The Gravity Vee also features removable seal access ports allowing bonnet seal replacement while the diverter remains in service.
