Ceramic Rotary Airlock
November 14, 2013
When heavy-duty is not enough, the Ceramic Series is a proven solution to rotary airlocks that wear out in high-abrasive applications. This durable valve is ideal for handling highly abrasive materials, such as alumina, coke, fly ash, and glass frit. The Ceramic Series rotary airlock achieves at least 3-5 times longer life compared to chrome and Ni-hard valves. High-performing, thick-wear layers of alumina ceramic coating throughout the airlock maintains the valve's precision tolerances longer than others. For highly abrasive or corrosive products, the Ceramic Series rotary airlock ensures up to +/- 12 psi pressure differential and up to 300°F. Constructed from either cast iron or stainless steel, the valve is fully equipped with eight-blade rotors with a choice of speed and square sizes of 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 in. With the ability to withstand even the most abrasive materials, our Ceramic Series rotary valves reduce maintenance costs and helps avoid production losses with less downtime and higher efficiency.
